About the Dry Fly Prints

Bern Sundell paints flies exactly the way he ties them, starting with the hook and adding more details in the order he would tie the fly on his vise. While this is an amusing bit of trivia, the result is incredibly accurate flies that look three dimensional.

He has painted flies for the Ennis on the Madison Fly Fishing Festival to use for their posters and t-shirts. The originals were auctioned at the annual banquet.
