About the Prints

The canvas giclees offered by RiverStone Gallery are richly beautiful. Clients in the gallery often mistake them for originals, until we tell them what they are.

Some of the giclees are remarqued by the artist, which means they have handpainted something special on the print, perhaps a dry fly in one corner, for example.

Most of the prints offered by RiverStone Gallery are giclee prints. A few are offset lithographs or serigraph prints. Edition sizes vary but all are small enough to have a collectible value. Signed certificates of authenticity come with the signed numbered limited edition prints.

Giclee prints are archival since they are produced with archival pigmented inks used on archival paper chemically matched for compatibility. The canvas giclee prints are mounted on a backing board and are ready for framing without glass.

All limited edition prints need to be handled with the same care any work of art on paper needs. This means avoiding harsh direct sunlight and extreme variations of heat and humidity. They will give many years of enjoyment when treated with this care.
